Jackal Group Creates New Production & Alternative Programming Role

LOS ANGELES: The Jackal Group has appointed Hend Baghdady, formerly of ADHD Studios, to the newly created post of senior VP of production and alternative programming.

In her new role, Baghdady will head the creative development and production of content for alternative programming and digital distribution. She will also oversee production for linear television and film projects. Baghdady most recently served as executive producer and the executive in charge of production at ADHD Studios, under the Fox Networks Group umbrella, where she helped develop, produce and distribute various series across FBC and FX’s late-night platforms. She also developed the digital arm of the company, creating short-form content and branded initiatives.

Baghdady will report to Joe Earley, the president of The Jackal Group. Earley commented: “Hend is a rare talent. She is not only a creative leader who produces consistently imaginative, compelling content, she is also an incredible executive who possesses the expertise and vision needed to help expand our business. With Hend joining The Jackal Group, we are now home for creators of virtually every type of content: film, scripted and unscripted television, live theater, and both short-form and long-form digital.”

The Jackal Group’s current television projects include Easiest Game Show Ever for Pop and The Rocky Horror Picture Show for FOX. The company also has in development Horrorstör, which received a put pilot commitment from FOX, and the drama series Park Row, among other titles, including feature films.
