Rainbow’s First Live-Action Series Heads to Netflix

LONDON: Maggie & Bianca Fashion Friends, the first live-action series from Rainbow, will be made available to Netflix subscribers globally in 2017.

The story of an American girl named Maggie and her Italian friend Bianca at the Milan Fashion Academy, the series premiered in Italy in August. It reaches Netflix next year, marking Rainbow’s second show on the streaming platform following the November 4 premiere of World of Winx.

The property is also faring well in the L&M space, with a pan-European toy deal in place with Simba Dickie, which has begun rolling out products to retailers in the region.
