CBBC has commissioned Danny & Mick, a live-action slapstick comedy, from Endemol Shine’s Tiger Aspect for broadcast next year.

Danny & Mick follows the adventures of half-brothers Danny Adams and Mick Potts, who both work in a leisure center. The 20×11-minute show is meant for young viewers between the ages of 6 and 9. It will be executive produced by Melissa Hardinge for CBBC.

Adams and Potts commented: “We can’t wait to get started on CBBC and look forward to showing the nation our crazy sense of humor and slapstick comedy. We’ve spent a long time making people laugh and honing our comedy antics [to be] ready for this big occasion, and hope to be able to do it for many years to come with Tiger Aspect and CBBC.”

Tom Beattie, executive producer, added: “I’m looking forward to Danny and Mick showcasing their super silly skills to a wider audience across the U.K. They know their stuff and I’m sure the CBBC audience will love them!”
