Endemol Shine Group has licensed the spin-off cooking competition series MasterChef Junior to broadcasters in Greece and Hungary.

MasterChef Junior is slated to begin airing on Star in Greece and TV2 in Hungary this fall. The show looks on as young chefs between the ages of 8 and 13 put their culinary skills to the test. It has already been been sold into 28 territories around the globe, including the U.S.

Natalie Bushaeva, the regional director of format distribution for Central and Eastern Europe at Endemol Shine Group, stated: “MasterChef Junior is an inspirational show with broad audience appeal and is set to be a surefire hit across the region. Announcing two new deals, with more in the pipeline, as we head to NAPTE Budapest really cements the format as one of the our most popular brands.”
