Armoza Formats has done its first deal for the new docu-reality show Back to Life, which has been licensed by the Polish production company Rochstar.

Back to Life follows the stories of patients and their families in a race against time while they wait for a lifesaving organ donation. Armoza and Rochstar previously worked together to bring the prime-time reality competition Curvy Supermodel to Poland, where the show is currently airing on Polstat.

Rinke Rooyens, CEO of Rochstar, said, “This issue is something we have been concerned about for a long time, not just as TV producers, but also from a humanist point of view. Accompanying patients as they eagerly wait for the transplant is an incredibly emotional experience, both for the viewers and those who are working on the show. The strength of this format is that it shows the true emotions of the heroes, their hopes for a new life, the tension of waiting for an operation as well as joyful moments.”

Avi Armoza, CEO of Armoza Formats, added, “Back to Life offers a unique opportunity to truly impact life. This is a format that will show audiences the true and emotional journey of those on the transplant list in ways that will highlight this very important social issue. We are looking forward to working with Rochstar to create a local adaptation and are thrilled to have signed the show’s first deal with them.”
