Russian Drama Trotsky Being Launched by Eccho Rights

Eccho Rights is taking the new eight-part historical epic Trotsky out to the global market.

From Sreda Production Company, Trotsky was produced for Channel 1 in Russia to mark the centenary of the Russian Revolution. The drama will have its world premiere at MIPCOM with a gala screening in the Grand Auditorium of the Palais des Festivals on Tuesday, October 17.

Eccho Rights has represented Sreda’s hit series Silver Spoon since 2015.

“Trotsky is an epic production that we are very proud to be representing,” said Nicola Söderlund, the managing partner of Eccho Rights. “Trotsky’s story is fascinating and with so much attention on the centenary of the Russian Revolution this year, we expect to see huge interest in the series.”
