Zodiak to Introduce Jarowskij Format WaterWars

LONDON: Zodiak Rights is to present the brand-new format WaterWars, from Jarowskij, part of the Zodiak Media Group, to MIPCOM buyers, following the show’s debut in Sweden.

In each episode of WaterWars, two teams—each captained by a celebrity—compete over a series of stunts and games filmed in an arena in Sweden. WaterWars tests contestants’ threshold for speed, endurance and their tolerance of getting wet. Jarowskij is producing the 6×1-hour series for TV6 in Sweden, where it will launch later this month.

Paul Martin, the VP of entertainment at Zodiak Rights, said, “WaterWars is set to be compulsive television viewing combining action, comedy and real competition. During the filming of WaterWars I held my breath as contestants were put through the challenges. WaterWars is truly a format with something for everyone and we are excited to be launching it at MIPCOM.”
