Zodiak & Blast! Films Re-Up Development Deal

LONDON: Zodiak Rights has extended its development deal with Blast! Films for an additional two-year term.

Zodiak has a first-look deal to distribute all Blast! Films’ productions, including the new police series Coppers (marketed internationally as The Police Station). Blast! Films’ slate also includes Twincredibles. The company are the producers of Channel 4’s The Queen.

Jane Millichip, the managing director for Zodiak Rights, said: “We are delighted to be continuing our relationship with Blast! Films. Strong third-party independent factual programming is core to our business and this deal confirms Zodiak Rights’ continued commitment to the independent production sector. Blast! Films provide us with a unique slate of content and we are delighted to be their international partner.”
