Zinkia & ITV End Co-Distribution Deal for Pocoyo

MADRID: Zinkia Entertainment and ITV Global Entertainment have ended their co-distribution arrangement for the children’s series Pocoyo, with Zinkia assuming the role of exclusive worldwide distributor of all rights to the franchise.

The move follows closely on the heels of Zinkia announcing it had secured a 51-percent majority stake in U.K.-based children’s entertainment outfit CAKE.

Pocoyo, which is co-produced by Zinkia and ITV, is an award winning CGI-animated TV series about an inquisitive and fun-loving 3-year-old boy and his animal friends. The series is narrated by British actor and comedian Stephen Fry.
