ZDFE Sells Henry Kissinger Doc

MAINZ: The documentary Henry Kissinger: Secrets of a Superpower has been sold by ZDF Enterprises into a number of countries, including a deal with the Biography Channel for German-speaking territories.

The Stephan Lamby doc was also picked up by the History Channel for Italian-speaking territories. Mico took on the free-TV rights for Japan. Peppermint took up the AV rights for Hong Kong and Macau. In Italy, the free-TV rights were sold to RAI Cinema. In Finland, YLE went for free-TV rights as well. Radio Canada picked up the Canadian rights, while VRT now handles free-TV rights for Flemish Belgium.

The documentary features Kissinger, a foreign-affairs specialist, talking candidly about his life. The intimate portrait was filed in HD at his home in Connecticut.
