ZDF Enterprises Offers Mysteries of the Abyss

MAINZ: ZDF Enterprises is offering up the underwater doc Mysteries of the Abyss: A Science Revolution.

The HD documentary features a team of marine scientists over a period of two years as they travel the world’s oceans doing extensive research. The doc’s director and filmmaker, Florian Guthknecht, has won more than 30 international film awards.

Roberto Rinaldi, Jacques Cousteau’s last cameraman, was responsible for the underwater shooting. Using a new form of HD lens, the filmmakers present the first images from the bottom of the sea shot within 35 days in Germany, France, Portugal and Italy.
