Vodafone, SKY Italia Launch Mobile TV Service

MILAN, December 12: Vodafone Italia and SKY Italia have
joined forces for a mobile digital television service that will offer up some
of the best content on the platform to subscribers’ TV-enabled handsets.

The lineup will include Fox One, delivering a range of
content from three Fox channels—FOX, FoxCrime and FoxLife—including
24 and Futurama, plus Italian productions such as Reparto
Maternità (Maternity Ward). Also from Fox is the male targeted FX Mobile. In
addition, the service will carry Disney Channel Mobile; DeeJay TV with music
videos; Cine Shots, devoted to movies and entertainment; Sky Calcio, delivering
Italian soccer; SKY Sport 24 and the news channel SKY TG 24. All Vodafone SKY
TV content will be offered for free until the end of March.
