VIZ Scores Latin American Deals

SAN FRANCISCO, August 23: VIZ Media has announced new Latin
American deals on its successful animated properties Naruto and Zatch Bell!.

America TV in Peru acquired 52
episodes each of both series, as did Televideo Services for broadcast in Guatemala,
Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Paraguay and Honduras. TV Globo opted for 52 episodes of Zatch Bell!.

Naruto, airing on
Cartoon Network in the U.S., targets the 9-to-14 set with a storyline about a mischievous misfit struggling to develop his ninja skills. Zatch
Bell! is an action-adventure show for kids
aged 6 to 11.
