Vivendi Reports Q4 Results

PARIS, March 7: For the fourth quarter of 2006, Vivendi’s
revenues remained flat at 5.5 billion euros, with adjusted net income rising 25
percent to 505 million euros.

For the full-year, meanwhile, revenues rose 3 percent to 20
billion euros, and adjusted net income was up by 18 percent to 2.6 billion euros.
Jean-Bernard Levy, the chairman of Vivendi's Management Board, remarked:
"This is the best result ever achieved by Vivendi. It is all the more
outstanding since almost half of the exceptional cost relating to the
Canal+/TPS transaction was taken into account during the 2006 fiscal year. Our
shareholders will benefit from these excellent results: we will propose at the
Annual General Meeting of Shareholders that a dividend of 1.20 euros per share
be paid. This represents an increase of 20 percent and a distribution rate of
53 percent of adjusted net income.”

In the quarter, Canal+ Group’s revenues rose by 4.9
percent to 918 million euros, and for the year they rose 7.7 percent to 3.6
billion euros.
