Vivendi Releases 2006 Results

PARIS, January 31: Vivendi Universal’s 2006 revenues rose
2.9 percent to 20.04 billion euros, while fourth quarter revenues were up 1.2
percent to 5.55 billion euros.

Canal+ Group’s 2006 revenues amounted to 3.63 billion euros,
a 7.7 percent gain. Revenues from pay-TV operations in France were up 244
million euros, or 9 percent, mainly due to increased subscriptions. As at the
end of the year, the Canal+ Group had more than 8.6 million subscriptions
(individual and collective, in France and overseas). Net additions for the year
were 350,000. Total subscriptions to Canal+ at the end of the year were 5.14
million. The Canal+ churn rate stands at 11.95 percent. CanalSat’s
subscriptions gained 272,000 in the year to 3.46 million, with a churn rate of
10.6 percent.

Canal+ Group’s fourth quarter revenues were up 4.9 percent
to 918 million euros. The French pay-TV operations saw revenues rise 6 percent
in the quarter.
