VIS Clinches Deals on Awesomeness Slate

Viacom International Studios (VIS) arrives at MIPCOM with a slew of deals concluded on shows from Awesomeness, after first introducing content from the GenZ studio at MIPTV.

Zac and Mia seasons one and two are headed to BBC iPlayer, while 4Music in the U.K. scored the first three seasons of the teen drama Guidance and the romance series Confess.

RTL Group’s SVOD platform Videoland opted for Light as a Feather alongside Guidance, Freakish and the teen sitcom My Dead Ex. Guidance landed a slot on the Hungarian free-to-air channel MTVA, which also picked up the first three seasons of the psychological thriller T@ggedGuidanceT@gged, Freakish and Light as a Feather were also acquired by the Austrian channel A1 for its pay-TV and SVOD services.

In South Africa, the SVOD platform Showmax opted for All Night, Foursome, Guidance and Love Daily.

In Canada, the SVOD service SRC licensed seasons one and two of Light as a Feather.
