Virgin1 Adds U.S. Dramas to 2010 Grid

LONDON: Virgin1 has signed a deal with NBC Universal International Television Distribution for the DTT rights to air the sci-fi drama Warehouse 13 and medical series Trauma in the U.K. 

Airing on Syfy in the U.S., and recently renewed for a second season, Warehouse 13 is the channel’s top show in 2009 so far. The premiere of the 13×1-hour series this summer 3.5 million viewers and was Syfy’s largest single telecast since 2006. Trauma had its premiere on NBC this fall. The 13×1-hour series is from series creator/executive producer Dario Scardapane and executive producer Peter Berg (Friday Night Lights). 

Both dramas will air on Virgin1 in 2010.
