Virgin Media Signs Multiplatform Deal with Disney

LONDON: Virgin Media has secured an agreement with Disney to feature of slew of new kids’ content across its TV, online and mobile platforms.

This is the first deal of its kind for Virgin Media. Programming from Disney Channel, Playhouse Disney and Disney XD will be made available on demand for TVs and online, and the rights for a wide range of Disney shows have been available for mobile. With the addition of Disney content, Virgin Media will have over 300 hours of kids’ content on demand from a broad range of content providers.
