Video Interview: Power’s Justin Bodle

NEW YORK: Power’s chairman and CEO, Justin Bodle, talks about the enduring appeal of event television in this video interview.

Founded in 1995, Power has become a leading independent producer and distributor and has partnered with major broadcasters around the world to finance high-quality and award-winning mini-series, series and movies for television. Power’s productions and co-productions include the International Emmy Award–winning mini-series Henry VIII and the epic disaster mini-series Flood, both for ITV; and, most recently, The Day of the Triffids, an adaptation of John Wyndham’s best-selling novel, for BBC One.
Continuing on its path of producing top-tier programming, the company recently struck up a deal, billed as the largest ever agreement for British drama in the German market, with Tele München Gruppe (TMG) to partner on all of their major drama productions for the next three years.
