Video Interview: FremantleMedia International’s Jens Richter

NEW YORK: Jens Richter, the CEO of FremantleMedia International, tells World Screen about some of the newest highlights from the company's slate.

 

When Richter became CEO of FremantleMedia International (FMI) earlier this year, he brought with him years of experience distributing, financing and acquiring programming. Early in his career he worked for an advertising production house, a sports media company, and then for Beta Film. Most recently, he was the managing director of Red Arrow International, the international sales arm of Red Arrow Entertainment Group. Among his numerous responsibilities, he oversaw the international distribution of a slate of U.S. and U.K. scripted shows and of formats. He brings all this expertise to FMI, whose catalogue contains more than 20,000 hours of programming.
