NEW YORK/LONDON: Alex Miller has been appointed global head of content at VICE, working across VICE.com and its nine channels.

Miller has been overseeing the company's content across VICE.com and its network of digital channels since October, after having served as VICE's U.K. editor in chief. Of the appointment, Miller said: “Over my time here VICE has grown dramatically, but our ambition remains thrillingly unhinged. I’m very proud of what I achieved with the U.K. team but I’m excited to move to the center of the perpetual motion machine that is VICE.”

Additionally, Ellis Jones has been named VICE Magazine’s editor in chief, the first female to hold that post in the company's 20-year history.
