Southern Star Takes on New Police Drama

SYDNEY, May 14: Southern Star International has been
appointed as the worldwide distributor of the new one-hour police drama City
Homicide,
which will air on Seven Network
later this year.

Southern Star International will launch the new drama at
MIPCOM this October. Produced by the Seven Network Australia and created by
John Hugginson and John Banas, City Homicide is told through the eyes of four young detectives and their superiors.
Set on the Homicide floor at police headquarters, the series features crime
stories that are centered on murder cases and the characters that deal with
them. City Homicide stars Shane
Bourne (Thank God You’re Here),
Nadine Garner (Blue Water High),
Noni Hazelhurst (Little Fish),
Daniel McPherson (The Bill),
Aaron Pederson (The Secret Life of Us) and Damien Richardson (Torn).
