VH1 to Air Doc on Kiefer Sutherland’s Rock Label

LOS ANGELES, October 27: The documentary I Trust You To
Kill Me
, which follows Kiefer Sutherland as
he takes his independent record label act Rocco DeLuca and The Burden on an
international tour, will air on VH1 on November 11 at 9 p.m.

A production of First Independent Pictures, the special
follows Rocco DeLuca and The Burden, the first artist signed to the Ironworks
Music label—founded by Sutherland and Jude Cole—on a tour through
London, Dublin, Reykjavik and Berlin. The film was released theatrically in New
York, Los Angeles and San Francisco in September.

Directed by Manu Boyer, the rockumentary is shot “guerilla
style” in HD color and black and white, chronicling live performances and the
interactions between the band and Sutherland, as well as with fans. The film is
named after the band’s debut album, which was released earlier this year.

"The tour in Europe, and the film that has resulted, I
Trust You To Kill Me
, was an amazingly
personal experience," says Sutherland. "I am thrilled that VH1 has
responded to the film so positively. I feel it is the perfect home for this
documentary and their audience will relate to the journey this film
depicts."
