VH1 Acquires The Bachelor Library

SANTA MONICA, May 15: VH1
has secured a licensing agreement with Warner Bros. Domestic Television
Distribution for the full library of the hit reality dating franchise The
Bachelor
.

The agreement includes 12
cycles of The Bachelor and The
Bachelorette
, as well as all
cycles through at least 2008. VH1 will air the first seven seasons as
marathons, with a new season airing each day of the week beginning June 1.

The first seven seasons
were produced by Next Entertainment in association with Telepictures
Productions, and the series is now produced by Next in association with Warner
Horizon Television. Mike Fleiss is the executive producer.
