V-me Launches Prime-Time Drama

NEW YORK, February 28:
Spanish digital network V-me
will debut three new weekly prime-time mini-series in the U.S. to air on Monday
nights, beginning March 3 with Treasure Island, distributed by Germany’s SevenOne International.

Treasure Island (La isla del tesoro) is an adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s
classic tale. The series is produced by ProSieben, and will air March 3 and
March 10 at 10 p.m.

On March 17 at 10 p.m., The
Other Boleyn Girl
(La otra
Bolena
) will premiere. The
90-minute drama, produced by the BBC, tells the story of Mary Boleyn, the
mistress of King Henry VIII.

The Hunt for Troy (El Tesoro de Troya) depicts archaeologist Henrich Schliemann’s
discovery of the long-lost city of Troy. The mini-series, from Germany’s
TeamWorx Productions, premieres March 24 and 31 at 10 p.m.
