Univision Expands Team with New Hire for Sports

NEW YORK: Univision Communications has named David Neal the senior VP of production for sports in a new role based in Miami.

Neal will report to Alexander “Sandy” Brown, the president of sports at Univision Communications, where he will oversee production for Univision’s sports properties across all platforms. Most recently, Neal acted as executive producer of NBC Sports. Since 2001, he served as executive VP of NBC Olympics and during his 29 years at NBC, he produced nine Olympic games, four NBA finals, two World Series and a Super Bowl pregame show, garnering Emmy Awards and various accolades.
