Universal Networks International On Board New Factual Series

LONDON: Universal Networks International (UNI) is to co-finance a new paranormal reality series, Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files, which will roll out across Syfy Universal international channels in the coming weeks.

The is the first time UNI is co-funding a non-fiction program to air on its core channels. The show will travel the world to uncover the truth behind supernatural and unexplained occurrences caught on camera and posted online. The aim is to answer the questions "is this real?"

Martin Irusta, the senior VP of global programming and acquisitions at Universal Networks International, said, “We promised to present our audiences with a rich offering of first-run content across all our channels and this new series seriously delivers. The paranormal is, of course, of huge interest to Syfy viewers and we’re delighted to have found a prime-time reality series that can really answer their questions.”
