U.K.'s Bravo to Air The Kill Point

LONDON, February 21: Virgin Media Television’s men’s entertainment
channel Bravo
has acquired the drama mini-series The Kill Point in an exclusive
deal with Lionsgate.

Starring John Leguizamo and Donnie Wahlberg, the 8×1-hour mini-series
follows a team of American veterans of the Iraq War who stage a bank heist that
goes wrong. Mr. Wolf, played by Leguizamo, finds himself battling police, led
by Wahlberg, the hostages and members of his own team. The series is filmed in
real time as an eight-hour event, and originally premiered on Spike TV in the
U.S. last summer, where it averaged 1.5 million viewers.

“The Kill Point is a perfect fit for Bravo—gritty, cinematic,
ambitious, and delivers a slick twist on a recognized genre,” said Bravo’s
channel controller, Dave Clarke. “We’re very excited to be launching such a
great show with such strong talent.”
