ZDF Enterprises Reports Brisk Sales for The Celts

MAINZ: ZDF Enterprises has clinched a new round of sales for The Celts: Blood, Iron & Sacrifice, a specialist factual program produced by ZDF and BBC in association with ARTE and ZDF Enterprises.

To date, the three-parter has been sold to Australia’s SBS and Foxtel, RTVE, VRT, Rai, Czech iPrima, Estonian Tallinn TV as well as to Viasat World for Scandinavian, Eastern European and African pay-TV rights. Emirates acquired in-flight rights, while CuriosityStream secured the VOD rights.

The Celts: Blood, Iron & Sacrifice is available with both a BBC-hosted or presenter-less version. The program examines the life and work of the tribes, who were called “Celts” or “Gauls” by their enemies and whose homelands spanned from Spain, England and France to Slovenia and Anatolia.
