World of Wonder’s Painted with Raven Renewed

World of Wonder, the company behind RuPaul’s Drag Race, has picked up a second season of the competition series Painted with Raven exclusively for WOW Presents Plus.

The series sees makeup artists from across the U.S. compete virtually in a series of challenges and face-offs. With no eliminations, the contestants compete for points, with the lowest performer being “muted” and unable to participate the next week. The artist with the most points at the end of the season is crowned the winner and receives $25,000.

Emmy Award-winning makeup artist Raven will return as host for season two, with RuPaul and World of Wonder’s Randy Barbato, Fenton Bailey and Tom Campbell executive producing.

The first three episodes of Painted with Raven‘s first season are available now on WOW Presents Plus and new episodes will continue to air weekly until the finale on January 13.

Raven said: “Hosting my own show with World of Wonder has been the thrill of a lifetime. Makeup is my passion and I am so thankful to also have it as my career. I am excited to put out a new season of Painted with Raven and help give a new generation of makeup artists the same platform that launched my career.”
