Video: Underdogs’ Ryan Reynolds, Mark Linfield & Vanessa Berlowitz

National Geographic’s latest wildlife series has dropped—this time with often-overlooked creatures at the center. Underdogs delves into the outcasts of the animal kingdom, including glass frogs, jewel wasps, pistol shrimp and so many more. Ryan Reynolds lends his star power and comedic streak to narrate the series.

Reynolds and executive producers Mark Linfield and Vanessa Berlowitz, co-founders of Wildstar Films, sit down with TV Real Weekly to talk about the origin of the series, the music soundtrack (which includes an original theme song by Green Day) and what they hope viewers take away from the show. Reynolds also shares his experience doing narration for the first time and what he learned from working with Nat Geo.
