U.S. Deals for TCB

TCB Media Rights has placed The Private Lives of the Monarchs, World’s Wildest Weather and Abandoned Engineering with broadcasters in the U.S.

Discovery’s Science Channel has commissioned a second season of Abandoned Engineering, co-produced with Like A Shot Entertainment. Smithsonian Channel acquired The Private Lives of the Monarchs, also a Like A Shot Entertainment production. The Weather Channel, meanwhile, licensed The World’s Wildest Weather, from Title Role Productions.

Paul Heaney, TCB’s CEO, said: “Closing three big U.S. deals is a great way to head into MIPTV. It’s always a thrill to sell shows into the U.S., which remains the world’s roughest, toughest, most competitive TV market. But these deals also show that TCB’s model, which is to co-create and co-invest in shows with producer-partners that we know, trust and admire, is a highly effective way to deliver content that works for everybody, from the broadcaster to the viewer.”
