BriteSpark Films will produce 20 additional episodes of Massive Engineering Mistakes, with Beyond Rights on board as co-production partner and international distributor.

The two new seasons are being funded through presales, including one in the U.S. Previous seasons of the show notched up deals with more than 20 broadcasters across the globe. The show follows as experts investigate the science behind building blunders and construction catastrophes.

BriteSpark’s Nick Godwin commented, “We’re delighted to partner with Beyond Rights on this series which, through an irresistible mix of storytelling and fascinating science, has become one of our most successful global brands.”

Katy Llewellyn-Jones, CEO at Beyond Rights, added, “This is a fantastic series that has already proved popular with buyers. The subject matter lends itself ideally to the requirements of international broadcasters and we are thrilled to be working on these new series with BriteSpark.”
