TVF International has secured deals with public broadcasters across Europe for its latest arts titles, including Keith Haring: Street Art Boy.

The hour-long doc, from BBC Studios for BBC Two and PBS, reveals how the international art sensation blazed a trail through the legendary art scene of 1980s New York and revolutionized the worlds of pop culture and fine art. The special, which premiered at this year’s Sheffield Doc Fest, has been picked up by ZDF, YLE, AVROTROS, VRT and SVT.

The Swedish pubcaster also picked up Doing it in Public: Art for the People, a Felix Media production for ABC Australia that posits the importance of public art and features work of renowned artists like Jeff Koons and Marina Abramovic.

RTVE secured rights to another ABC Arts commission, Can Art Stop a Bullet, which examines the stories behind some of the world’s most iconic artworks—often born from conflict—to explore the role of art in achieving change.

The latest additions to TVF International’s arts slate are two BBC commissions, Gauguin: A Dangerous Life, which re-assess the artist in light of feminist, colonial and indigenous studies, and Titian: Behind Closed Doors, which offers viewers a once in a lifetime opportunity to view his Renaissance masterpieces together, currently under quarantine in the National Gallery. Inside the Uffizi, commissioned for German broadcaster SWR, gives exclusive, behind the scenes access to the oldest and most esteemed art institution in the world.
