Trump’s American Carnage Doc Goes Global

PBS International has licensed Trump’s American Carnage, a Frontline documentary special, to a slew of broadcasters around the world, among them ZDF Info (Germany) and PBS America (U.K.).

The film traces the path from Donald Trump’s inaugural address, where the president famously vowed an end to what he called “American carnage,” to the violent siege of the U.S. Capitol. Additional broadcasters include VRT (Belgium), SBS (Australia), SRC (Canada), RTS (Switzerland), RTP (Portugal), RTÉ (Ireland), RTBF (Belgium), EBS (South Korea), DR (Denmark), DIRECTV (Latin America) and B1 (Romania).

Trump’s American Carnage premiered on Tuesday on PBS stations in the U.S.

“Our film identifies how, for years, the country’s political leaders missed, ignored and discounted clear warnings of the violence and chaos that was to come,” said Frontline filmmaker Michael Kirk (America’s Great Divide: From Obama to Trump, Trump’s TakeoverUnited States of Conspiracy).
