TLC Goes for More of I Am Jazz

LOS ANGELES: TLC has renewed I Am Jazz, a documentary series focused on a transgender teen, for a second season.

I Am Jazz follows the life of Jazz Jennings and her family. The titular 15-year-old devotes her time to being a transgender advocate. She and her parents founded the Transkids Purple Rainbow Foundation, a nonprofit organization meant to support transgender youth and their families.

I Am Jazz is produced for TLC by This Is Just a Test. The show's eight-episode new season is set to premiere on the U.S. network in 2016.
