The Cartel Taps Head of Unscripted, Documentary

Stewart Cavanagh, a veteran unscripted entertainment agent and former VP of alternative at The Gersh Agency, has been appointed head of unscripted and documentary at The Cartel.

Cavanagh primarily represents prolific clients in the alternative and documentary space, including the production companies New Dominion Pictures, Buck Productions and Komhaber Brown. Some of his showrunner clients include Michael Mills (RuPaul’s Drag Race), Ray Dotch (Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath), Emi Macuaga (Seeking Sister Wives), Aaron Catling (Hyperdrive), Tammy Wood (Twisted Sister) Blake Davis (Ugly Delicious) and Hugh Peterson (Car Masters).

Prior to The Gersh Agency, Cavanagh spent six years as the VP of alternative at Rebel Entertainment Partners and three years as an alternative agent at Innovative Artists. He first gained experience in unscripted television at The William Morris Agency.
