CANNES: TCB Media Rights has entered into an agreement with U.K. indie Crackit Productions to represent Sex Pod and Horror Homes, bringing the number of new titles in the company’s MIPTV lineup to 20.

The 10×1-hour series Sex Pod seeks to dismiss the U.K. public’s myths about sex by answering tricky questions about the human body that people often shy away from asking their partners or friends. The series has been commissioned by Channel 5 in the U.K. and is slated to air this spring.

Channel 5 has also commissioned Horror Homes, which puts a spotlight on people whose houses have become living nightmares as a result of natural and man-made catastrophes. TCB Media Rights will represent the second season of the hour-long series. TCB already represents Crackit’s Skinny Brides to Fat Wives, which focuses on four women who have gained weight after their weddings.

Paul Heaney, CEO of TCB Media Rights, remarked: “Crackit has a genius for finding subjects that have universal appeal and offering a new perspective that strikes a chord with buyers. Horror Homes and Sex Pod are exactly the sort of shows that our broadcaster partners want and need so a great fit for our catalogue.”

Other highlights on TCB’s MIPTV slate include documentaries such as Beaver Las Vegas and Kitten Impossible from Middlechild and the series The Big Ward from Greenstone TV.
