LONDON: TCB Media Rights has secured broadcast deals in Central and Eastern Europe for some 450 hours of factual and factual-entertainment programming.

War Junk will also air in Czech Republic via a deal with FTV Prima, which signed on for The Hunt for Hitler’s Missing Millions, World’s Richest Dogs, Treason, Survival in the Skies and Combat Trains.

An 80-hour deal with Inter Media Group brings Survivorman and Wicked Inventions to Ukraine. Stream TV Russia, meanwhile, acquired a seven-title package that includes Nurses, Heavy Metal Monsters, Tales of the UnexpectedWorld’s Richest Dogs, Screen Machines, Love Me, Love My Cats, and Jabbed: Love, Fear and Vaccines.

In Poland, ZPR Media’s TV Spektrum picked up Survival in the Skies, 747: The Jumbo Revolution, World’s Busiest, MegaTruckers, Wicked Inventions and Combat Trains. BBC Worldwide, meanwhile, committed to Fool’s Gold for its Polish service. CBS Reality is on board for more than 80 hours of content, including Border Patrol. Minute by Minute, Murder Made Me Famous, Nightmare Tenants, Slum Landlords, Scammers and Bondi Rescue will also air on CBS Reality in both Poland and EMEA. In addition, TVN in Poland picked up a 59-hour package featuring The Big Ward, Combat Dealers, Skinny Brides to Fat Wives, 41 Dogs in My Home, Renters, Mega-Yachts, Changing Faces and Bringing Sexy Back.

Anna Budashevskaya, TCB Media Rights’s sales manager for CEEMEA, said, “Despite the region’s economic and political troubles, which have affected buying power and hourly license fees in markets including Russia, Ukraine and even Poland, we have seen a phenomenal growth in our CEE business over the last year. What’s more, the appetite for TCB’s content shows no sign of easing up. To me, that proves there is always a demand for quality factual programming with broad appeal.”
