TCB Lands Sales on Royal-Themed Shows

TCB Media Rights has scored presales for two of its royal-themed MIPCOM launches, Elizabeth and The Private Lives of the Monarchs.

SBS Australia has invested in Elizabeth, produced by ITN Productions for Channel 5 in the U.K., and The Private Lives of the Monarchs, from Like A Shot Productions. Elizabeth is new 8×1-hour documentary series that follows the British monarch over the course of her nearly seven-decade rule. The Private Lives of the Monarchs is a 5×1-hour series that was presold to UKTV and Viasat and now also counts SBS Australia as a partner. The biography series is led by Tracy Borman, joint chief curator of the Royal Palaces.
