Storyvault Films Appoints Company Director

Claire Pugh-Williams has been appointed to the role of company director at Storyvault Films.

“Given the increasingly competitive market for distinctive factual formats and the ongoing global appetite for premium nonfiction content, it’s the perfect time for Storyvault to further stretch its creative wings,” said Pugh-Williams. “I am delighted to have the opportunity to help shape the company’s future direction.”

With more than two decades of experience across factual and factual-entertainment production, Pugh-Williams brings expertise from prior leadership positions with the BBC, Nutopia, Nest Productions and other independent producers. Pugh-Williams has served as head of production since 2023 at Storyvault Films. She has overseen the production of Portrait Artist of the Year and Landscape Artist of the Year for Sky Arts.

“This strategic move for Storyvault demonstrates our commitment to strengthening not only our leadership team, but our creative production capability,” said Samantha Richards, executive producer and founding partner of Storyvault Films. “2026 promises to be a very exciting year for us. We recognize, though, an even greater need in the current environment to grow a senior team that can adeptly navigate commercial, creative and operational demands as we scale and diversify our output. With her deep operational and creative expertise, we are thrilled to have Claire join our board. In her expanded capacity as a company director, she will play an integral role in shaping Storyvault’s strategic direction, strengthening production leadership and supporting long-term slate development.“
