Smithsonian Special to Spotlight Charlie Hebdo Massacre

NEW YORK: Smithsonian Channel is slated to broadcast Paris Terror Attack: Charlie Hebdo, a one-hour special focused on the assault that took place at the satirical magazine's office earlier this year.

Paris Terror Attack: Charlie Hebdo is scheduled to air on Monday, January 4, at 8 p.m. The special will chronicle the events of the attack that occurred in Paris on January 7, 2015, when two radicalized Islamic brothers murdered 11 employees at the Charlie Hebdo office and then a police officer in the chase that followed. It will feature testimony from the police and military commanders leading the operation to capture the suspects, combined with eyewitness video.

Paris Terror Attack: Charlie Hebdo is produced by Films of Records for Smithsonian Networks in association with Channel 4 Television. It is executive produced by David Royle and Charles Poe for Smithsonian Channel.
