Smithsonian Channel Special Spotlights Meghan Markle

Ahead of Prince Harry and actress Meghan Markle’s wedding, Smithsonian Channel has lined up the special Million Dollar American Princesses: Meghan Markle.

The special edition of Million Dollar American Princesses will examine Markle’s life in light of other American “princesses,” from Consuelo Vanderbilt to Rita Hayworth to Grace Kelly. The program will chronicle Markle’s childhood, her acting career and her romance with Prince Harry, combining archival material and interviews.

Million Dollar American Princesses: Meghan Markle will air on Sunday, May 13 at 9 p.m. on Smithsonian Channel. It will premiere simultaneously in Canada on Smithsonian Channel Canada. The special is produced by Finestripe Productions and Smithsonian Networks.
