Sky Vision Secures Global Sales for Clip Shows

LONDON: Sky Vision, the international distribution and production arm of Sky, has closed international deals for Bellum Entertainment’s clip shows, with Animals Unleashed among them.

Animals Unleashed, which features user-generated clips, has been sold into 109 territories, including Channel 4 in the U.K., NBCUniversal in Asia, FOX International Channels in Sweden and Norway, TV2 in Denmark and Sony in Africa. What Went Down is another user-generated show that has sold into 124 territories and has been picked up by Seven Network in Australia, Blue Ant Media in Canada, BBC Worldwide in Poland, Discovery Focus in Italy and Globosat in Brazil.

In addition, People Behaving Badly has been acquired by MTG in Norway, Polsat Play in Poland and Sony in Africa, among others, for a total of 54 territories. Polsat Play also signed on for Kids Do the Craziest Things, as did SBS in Norway and MTG in Latvia.

Buyers across the world have committed to the series prior to the completion of production, which demonstrates the keen demand for this type of content. We are now focusing on positioning the shows with U.S. cable channels at Realscreen.”
