Further Sales for Noddy

LONDON/NEW YORK: Chorion has extended the reach of its Noddy property, which celebrates is 60th anniversary this year, with sales across northern and southern Europe for the new series Noddy in Toyland and the earlier incarnation Make Way for Noddy.

RTP Portugal, TV2 Norway and MTV Oy in Finland have all picked up the latest series Noddy in Toyland, which has already been taken on by Five in the U.K. and France 5. MTV Oy Finland also acquired Make Way for Noddy, as did Spanish broadcaster TVE, which took the free-TV rights to all 100 10-minute episodes for broadcast on La 2 and Clan TV.

Based on the books by Enid Blyton, which have continuously been in print since 1949, the new series Noddy in Toyland is a continuation of the earlier adventures in Make Way for Noddy. In his latest show, Noddy is joined by an ensemble cast that includes Tessie Bear, Bumpy Dog and new friend Whiz the Robot. The series focuses on adventures, play and community.
