Serendipity Media has acquired the rights to the Swedish documentary Mission: Korea.

Mission: Korea tells the true story of the Swedish international humanitarian effort in which more than 1,000 Swedish personnel were deployed to Korea during the conflict—not to fight, but to save lives. Under U.S. colors, Swedish personnel worked to help the injured from both sides and then stayed on for many years training locals.

The documentary uses exclusively Swedish archive footage and includes access to the people who were there. Written and directed by Mikael Hedlund, Mission: Korea is slated to soon roll out to the Asia Pacific region.
