Pernel Media Making Attila the Hun Doc for France 5

Pernel Media has been commissioned by the French public broadcaster France 5 to produce In the Footsteps of Attila the Hun.

A science-based television special, In the Footsteps of Attila the Hun will delve into the life of the legendary barbarian leader. Pernel Media has secured exclusive access to an archeological site in Kazakhstan that shines a new light on the famous ruler who led his Hun army across Europe and contributed to the fall of the Roman Empire. The documentary, which also counts Hungary, France and the U.S. among its filming locations, looks to uncover the truth surrounding the man who became widely known as the “Scourge of God.”

In the Footsteps of Attila the Hun is slated to air on the France 5 science strand Science Grand Format, with Pernel Media producing French- and English-language versions. Pernel Media will be presenting the documentary to international buyers at MIPCOM.
