Peacock has revealed a slate of original documentaries highlighting athletes who have competed in the Olympic Winter Games, all set to premiere throughout January.

Slated to debut on January 6, the four-part docuseries Meddling details the 2002 Olympic figure skating scandal, in which Elena Berezhnaya and Anton Sikharulidze of Russia won gold over Jamie Sale and David Pelletier of Canada, much to the surprise of some commentators and the Canadian public, leading to accusations that the competition was fixed.

The series mixes archival footage and present-day interviews with the skaters, judges, commentators and the alleged fixer, Marie-Reine Le Gougne, to present the controversy from beginning to end. The first two episodes will debut on January 6, with the remaining two premiering weekly.

From co-directors and executive producers Frank Marshall and Lindsey Vonn, Picabo chronicles the life of Picabo Street, an alpine skiing icon of the 1990s. The film follows Street’s unorthodox childhood in Idaho to her Olympic successes, recoveries from ill-timed injuries and 2015 arrest. It is slated to bow on January 21.

American Rock Stars, narrated by Nick Offerman, centers on the American curling team as they prepare to defend their gold medal at the 2022 Winter Olympics. The series details John Schuster, Matt Hamilton, Chris Plys and John Landsteiner’s lives from their small-town roots all the way to the trials. All four episodes will debut on January 26.
