Peacock Orders Docuseries on Nelly & Ashanti

Peacock has ordered a new docuseries about hip-hop power couple Nelly and Ashanti from Critical Content.

The series will follow the couple as they traverse careers and new parenthood, having welcomed their first-born child in July after marrying in December 2023. Nelly is best known for hits such as “Hot in Herre” and “Ride with Me,” while Ashanti is best known for her hits “Foolish” and “Rock with U (Awww Baby).”

With regard to television, Nelly starred in Nellyville on BET and the mockumentary Real Husbands of Hollywood. He has also appeared in The Longest Yard, CSI: New York and Dancing with the Stars. Ashanti has appeared in multiple projects, such as Army Wives and Love & Listings.
