MONTREAL: Investigation Discovery (ID) has given the go-ahead to Guilty Rich from CMJ Productions II (A Stranger in My Home, Fatal Vows).

The six-part show, which will premiere on ID this fall, examines the lifestyles of super wealthy criminals. Each episode tells the story of a super-rich person who committed a crime, exposing an excessive lifestyle that went to their heads. Guilty Rich illustrates how, when it comes to crime, the very rich are not like the rest of us.

CMJ Productions’ CEO and executive producer, John Kuyk, commented, “Over the last decade CMJ Productions has carved out a strong reputation for developing and producing numerous high-quality, crime-focused series. Guilty Rich, by incorporating unprecedented access to the excessive lifestyles of the ultra-rich via conversations with gossipy friends, hit men, drug dealers and realtors who know them best, represents a new page for our company in the crime-themed storytelling genre.”
